REACH (Reach Every Addict with Christ's Help) is a faith-based non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce substance abuse among youth and adults. We are made up of four teams of volunteers, each of which have their own goals and objectives. These teams are the Recovering Addicts Team, School and Youth Team, Family Support Team and Judicial Review Team. Our Recovering Addicts Team makes referrals for treatment, provides transportation to detox units and also pays bus fair for clients to get to residential facilities. We pay detox fees and in some cases, fees for residential treatment. Weekly support groups are provided every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. for those who are struggling with substance abuse. Our School and Youth Team teach drug education/prevention in the Magoffin county school system. Our Judicial Review Team keeps court records of all substance abuse related cases that go through the court system. Our Family Support Team is capable of providing a nine-week support group called "Concerned Persons" to family members of those who are struggling with substance abuse. We also provide free drug testing to social service referrals, drug court ordered clients and for parents who suspect their children could be using drugs. We offer a message of HOPE through the power of Jesus Christ.
